Harold George Lee founded The Pioneer Potato Company Limited in 1933, to provide ready-peeled potatoes. Having developed his own preservative to prevent his potatoes from discolouring, he discovered a market for his preservative in Fish & Chip shops. The company name was changed to Drywite Ltd, and caterers and vegetable processors worldwide have relied on Drywite products ever since.
His legacy proudly lives on with the new H.G. Lee range of seasonings and non-brewed condiments, which combine inspirational ingredients from around the world to create delicious blends and exceptional flavours.
